So then found the directions on the xrite website to update the driver for the colorimeter for the vista 64 bit versionsand when I tried that I got the blue screen of death. Thanks Jimmy - all is working now.

The first attempts to install must have left some sort of corrupted driver in there. Hello, I realize this thread is long dead, and most people upgraded to Win 7 ages ago. You will need to enter your name, company, and serial number during the install process.

Now, you want to calibrate your monitor. When I got it, I did monaci install the software from the CD, but downloaded the latest software from the ColorVison site. It's not a quick solution: This works fine on XP, but I recently got a laptop with Windows 7 x64 on it.
